The Yuba Sutter Master Chorale once again collaborated with the Veridian Symphony Orchestra for a Spring Concert this year. They were held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 7:00pm and Sunday, April 28, 2013 at 4:00pm at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (Yuba City) and Faith Lutheran Church (Marysville). Both concerts also featured dancers from Jacque's Dance Expressions.

The Yuba Sutter Master Chorale is an ensemble comprised of singers from throughout the Yuba, Sutter, Colusa and Sacramento area. The Chorale is now in its sixth year bringing the finest in choral literature to the Yuba Sutter Community. The Chorale reflects a stunning cross section of singers including nurses, lawyers, students, teachers, governmental employees, pastors, and many other professional groups. The common thread so essential and inherent within the ensemble is the love of choral singing and the desire to express through the human voice the great choral literature from throughout the ages.

 

The Chorale presents four major concerts a year, a fall POPS concerts, a Christmas concert, a Valentine's POPS concert and a Spring concert. Music performed includes music from the Renaissance Period through modern times. An important goal of the Master Chorale is to involve various Arts groups from throughout the community which includes Jacque's Dance Expressions, the Borgamaria Lyric Opera Company, poets, instrumentalists, and many other artists. Based in Northern California, the Yuba Sutter Master Chorale is under auspices of the Yuba Sutter Regional Arts Council.
